Final Score Tinryland 2-14 Palatine 1-10

Tinryland minors made history today when they brought back the McKelvie Cup to Tinryland for the very first time. Despite a an enthusiastic start from Palatine, Tinryland got into their rhythm and led by double scores at half time (1-5 to 4). The second half was one way traffic with substitute Andrew Hanley scoring 4 points from play on his introduction. In the end Tinryland won by 7 points but the margin could have been wider, such was their superiority. Congratulations to players and management on a wonderful achievement. A new photo will shortly be in the clubhouse - one of the young men who brought the first minor title to Tinryland. This is an immensely proud evening for the club.
