There has been a good demand to date since tickets went on sale for Tinryland G.A.A. club’s first dinner dance in 10 years which will be held in the Seven Oaks Hotel Carlow on Saturday 7th February. This year’s event will include the presentation of championship and league medals to the 2014 minor team that made history when winning the clubs first ever minor title. Presentations will also be made to the 2012 and 2014 junior league winning teams. Tickets are still available from the club or any committee member. Members of the teams receiving medals are entitled to one free ticket and should contact their team manager as soon as possible.

Membership is now due for 2015. All players must be paid up registered members of the club and members of the player injury scheme prior to the start of the competitive season in March.

Legendary commentator Michael O’Muircheartaigh will visit Tinryland G.F.C. on Saturday 28th February to officially launch the Andy Murphy memorial week which will be run in aid of Co. Carlow Hospice fund. Michael last visited the club in 1988 when he launched the Tinryland G.F.C. 100 year’s history book. The Andy Murphy memorial week also includes a number of other events based in the club including the opening S.F. match of the season on Sunday 1st March between last year’s Co. semi-finallists Palatine and Tinryland.
