Páidi O Sé to Coach Tinryland Senior Footballers

Legendary Kerry All Ireland winning player and manager Paidi O Se will conduct a coaching session with Tinryland senior footballers on next Tuesday evening 3rd May as part of the clubs participation in the R.T.E. John Murray radio show longshots series.

Tinryland together with Offaly hurling club Crinkle were selected as teams to follow for 2011 following a selection process by researchers from the John Murray show that included GAA journalist Damien Lawlor. During the course of this years Carlow championship campaign the show will be providing the club with coaching together with drumming up local support for the team and airing updates on crunch games throughout the championship. Tinryland who were once the kingpins of Carlow football have not won a Carlow senior title since 1981 despite having had a lot of success at underage level in the past 20 years.

The former Kerry captain who won 8 All Ireland medals, 5 All star awards and managed winning All Ireland Kerry teams in 1997 & 2000 together with guiding Westmeath to a Leinster title in 2004 will be accompanied to Tinryland at 7p.m. next Tuesday  by programme host John Murray, journalist Damien Lawlor, R.T.E. researcher John O’Reilly and a camera man as the session is also due to be broadcast on the R.T.E. website.

Next Tuesdays session is open to all Tinryland and Carlow GAA supporters.
