Match Reports:

Tinryland’s 3rd team travelled to Myshall on Wednesday evening to take on the local team in the Division 4 league. The boys in the Blue and White opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a point from Gavin Power. Cormac O’Brien added another before Tony Hogan got Myshall’s first point. 17 minutes in to the game the Myshall men broke forward and a cracker of a shot from Tony Doyle found the back of the Tinryland net. The half time score read; Myshall 1.05 Tinryland 0.03. The Tinryland men started the second half at great pace and scored 2 great points from John Dempsey and Dinny Farrell. Myshall responded with a brace of points before Tinryland hit 3 points in a row from Cathal Whelan and Gavin Power 2. Tinryland playing very well at this stage created 2 great goal chances but failed to find the net. They were to pay the price for this as Myshall through James Kelly on the 54th minute got the ball past Tinryland’s Goalkeeper Lee Buggle. The Final score 2.09 to 0.09 for the Myshall Men. Best for Myshall Tony Hogan, Mike Tracey and Cian Hosey. For Tinryland, Lee Buggle, John Farrell, Adam Mullen, John Dempsey played well.
